The task is to construct and code finite difference and finite element solution processes for certain elliptic problems. In contrast to the material of standard courses, these problems contain some type of singularity (such as reentrant concave corner in the domain, a coefficient close to resonance, or a discontinuous coefficient). The goal is to study the effect of singularities as well.
