Projekt leírás
In real life degradation problems one possible strategy is to define the maintenance programs by the actual condition of the structure. This is described in detail in [1]. The task is to understand the approach and to implement it in R, as well as to create a simulator program, where the degradation is modelled by a random onset time and a gamma process, as in [2]. The results can be then applied to biostatistics as well, where a disease plays a role of degradation.
